Join a supportive community where your experience of chronic pain can be held. This 8-week group fosters well-being, personal growth, and community. We’ll use a variety of tools from expressive and narrative therapy, polyvagal and somatic therapy, mindfulness, and other therapeutic modalities to support your mental health. Mindful Resets: Relieving Stress and Anxiety
Sure, mindfulness can be taught through apps or AI, but there’s something remarkable about learning with a group of people. We might find that someone else is experiencing something similar to us, too. And for a moment, we might feel less alone. We can try something new and talk about whether it worked, why it did or didn’t, and whether or how we want to change it so it might work better. We can use technology to cut through the world’s noise to generate hope.
Studies show that coming together actually helps with stress. Together, for 45 minutes a week, we’ll learn techniques for relieving stress and anxiety that come from somatics, mindfulness, art and narrative therapy, and ecotherapy. This lunch hour is focused on practical but intentional ways that you release tension, stress, or anxiety that has accumulated (or is accumulating).
Lunch hours can be peace hours. Come join us.
