Your child seems different lately — more anxious, more withdrawn, quicker to melt down over small things, or pulling away from you and you just can't seem to break through. Maybe something changed at home or school. Maybe you can't see an obvious change, and that's even harder to understand. Hardest of all is that you can't seem to make it better, and that's your job as a parent.

You don't have to carry this by yourself. And reaching out doesn't mean you've failed as a parent, it means that you're finding your child another person who’s in their corner. And we all need more people in our corner. 

I do my best to help children feel happier and process what's underneath their distress — whether that's anxiety, big emotions, school stress, social difficulties, or adjusting to a family change like a new sibling or a loss.

Your relationship with your child is vital to their well-being. While my primary work will be with your child, I'll also strive to build a strong, collaborative relationship with you. You're not alone in the hard work of parenting, just like your child is not alone in their struggles. Together, we can build a container of care that supports both their journey and your connection with each other.

I use play therapy and sand tray therapy, offered from a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming lens under the supervision of a certified play and sand tray therapist.
