strengthening your relationship

Relationships + Couples

We’re not always taught the tools we need to thrive in our relationships. We might find ourselves falling into patterns, uncertain how to communicate and hesitant to try something, let alone something different or new.

Therapy can help.

Here you’ll have a blame-free and shame-free space to explore communication tools and look at patterns that might be keeping your relationship stagnant and consider ways to gently break those patterns so that you can each be heard, seen, and affirmed.

I intertwine the Gottman’s research-based methods with Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) for an integrative approach that blends heart with logic and offers pragmatic, “nuts and bolts” skills-building while we consider deeper, more attachment-based approaches and possibilities to generate lasting change.

Above all, our sessions are guided by your relationship goals and the belief that repairs are possible after ruptures. Come back to each other.

I offer trauma-sensitive, neuroaffirming somatic and holistic therapy that draws from a variety of therapeutic methods. I have a strong background in somatics and mindfulness, which I frequently blend with different approaches like parts work, attachment theory, and neuroscience.

I work hard to empower you and find what resonates with you in the moment, while keeping your ultimate goals in mind as I offer those paths. If you have ever read a “choose your own adventure” book, it might feel familiar. There are moments in therapy where we find ourselves with opportunities to explore different pathways. We choose one, and trust that there are many paths to insights and your goals.
